Michelle Kille, District One Director of Public Policy

Change is a word that can often be met with apprehension or unease. We are in a period where our very own neighborhoods, communities and country are experiencing a number of changes. And while it can be intimidating to navigate, it can also serve as an opportunity to improve, rebuild and create a stronger foundation for the future.

As the Director of Public Policy for the District One office, I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to serve under a Councilmember who is not only personally invested in the success of the community, but who also offers a fresh and dynamic vision and a strong determination to see the City of Sacramento reach its potential. I bring to this position firsthand experience in community planning, policy development, and land use affairs. Over the past five years, I have been fortunate to work closely with the District One area and have worked alongside Angelique on a number of successful projects, including: the launch of the Natomas Police & Community Resource Center, the North Natomas Finance Plan, the Crime and Safety Forum, and the Creekside Community Fair. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Real Estate/Land Use from Sacramento State and this coming spring will receive a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

I am very excited to support the development of public policy that will move our City forward, and to serve District One as a part of a team committed to the vision of seeing the City of Sacramento and its residents thrive.
