We would really like to make the meeting on flood control, we are very concerned. But, we will be out of the country and not returning until the 27th. Is there anyway we could receive information on what is discussed and where the project lies
I would also like information on this, please. How can those of us who could not attend receive an update?
Hi there – You can contact the Office of Senator Steinberg at 916-651-1529. They took notes at the event and will be able to provide you with those once they are available. Also, there will also be another town hall on Saturday, March 3rd that will cover some of the same information (regarding the work SAFCA has done and the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan) but there may be less of an emphasis on the specifics of the Natomas Levee Improvement Project.
Details are below:
Saturday, March 3, 2012
12 noon – 2 pm
John F. Kennedy High School Auditorium
6715 Gloria Drive
Sacramento, California 95831
Also, make sure to check back on our website around mid-March as we will have some updates regarding Vice Mayor Ashby’s trip back to Washington and provide information on how folks can get involved and voice their support for the NLIP authorization to decision makers back in Washington.
