Santa is Coming to District One!

In addition to his normal holiday duties, St. Nick has found time to travel through many District One neighborhoods throughout the month of December aboard a fire truck, courtesy of Sacramento City firefighters.

Santa can be seen passing out candy cane treats to good girls and boys between the hours of 5:30 and 7:30 pm on the following dates:

Seriously good idea. Santa just left our neighborhood park and they did an awesome job. Santa took his time to meet and take pictures with everyone. My daughter LOVED it!!! Hope this happens every year!

We are so excited to see Santa coming down our street! The kids are going to love it!

  • What an awesome idea, Angelique! We braved the cold, got our lawn chairs out, blankets and snuggies, hot cocoa and leftover sparklers from 4th of July and gave Santa and his elves a hearty Mabry Drive welcome!

I hope this is something we can do every year! Next year, we plan to pull the fire pit out and roast marshmallows. (Hopefully, the fire trucks don’t douse us!!! LOL)

Santa didn’t come through my neiborhood in the hamtons but we drove to the 3rd stop on the list for Dec 17 in regency park….me and my kiddies can’t wait til Santa comes :)

This was really great — the kids thought it was great to see Santa AND a fire truck. However, the stop #5 in Natomas Park o the 17th which was supposed to be at the North side of the “foot park” near Danbrook Dr. actually happened on Crest — the West side of the park! We almost missed Santa and had to run from where he was scheduled to be (not fun with a 5-year-old!). If we had missed Santa that would have been worse than not going to see him at all!
