Councilwoman Angelique Ashby Participates in
My Sister’s House Fashion for a Cause
SACRAMENTO – Councilwoman Angelique Ashby and her daughter Alia will participate in Fashion for a Cause on Thursday April 20th from noon to 1pm at Macy’s Downtown. Fashion for a Cause will benefit My Sister’s House, an organization which serves women and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Models include Sacramento community leaders who support the important work that My Sister’s House performs in our community. Additionally, Macy’s will offer their Friends and Family discount to those interested in picking up some of the fashions displayed at the show.
Councilwoman Ashby looks forward to participating and helping raise funds for this important partner.
Angelique Ashby is a mother, business owner, neighborhood leader and the senior member of the Sacramento City Council – currently serving in her second term.
