ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 15TH, THE SACRAMENTO CITY COUNCIL APPROVED THE REVISIONS TO OUR OUTDOOR WATER CONSERVATION ORDINANCE!
On November 1, 2017, the new Outdoor Watering Ordinance will become permanent.
This means that from November through February, the winter watering schedule returns to one weekend day per week, any time of day with no runoff. From March through October watering will be restricted to 2 days per week based on your premise address.

WATERING SCHEDULE (THROUGH NOVEMBER 1, 2017)
From now until November 1, 2017, this is the watering schedule:

Odd NumberTuesday, Thursday & Saturday
Even NumberWednesday, Friday & Sunday
No matter what your address is, always water before 10 am or after 7 pm.
Remember to water with the weather! If rain is in the forecast, be sure to turn-off sprinklers for at least one week, and use multiple short times to avoid runoff.
Drip or microspray irrigation, vegetable gardens and potted plants are exempt from the watering schedules.
