Mayor Pro Tem Angelique Ashby will host a Women’s Roundtable at the City of Refuge in Oak Park, addressing homelessness among Women and Children in the City of Sacramento on Wednesday, February 20th.
Mayor Pro Tem Angelique Ashby will bring together 40+ leaders from homeless service agencies, domestic violence agencies, and government agencies to address issues that impede housing for women and children. The roundtable will allow organizations to discuss barriers to providing services to families.
Mayor Steinberg presented an expenditure plan of $37 million to address homelessness. So far, one million of these funds have been allocated toward homelessness among women and children.
