Angelique Ashby and the City of Sacramento
Department of Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment, in partnership with the Natomas Unified
School District, Otto Construction and Studio W Architects, are announcing a series of events ahead of the North Natomas Community Center and Aquatics Complex grand opening on Saturday, April 23.
“The North Natomas Community Center and Aquatics Complex is an asset to the Sacramento region giving our families more recreational opportunities. Additionally, this project has generated over 1,000 local jobs, has contributed to the local economy, and will continue to provide long term employment to Sacramento. It will bring tourism to our local businesses, hotels, and region.” said Vice Mayor Ashby.
The public is invited to register for 30-minute group tours of the facility prior to the grand opening. Tours will be held at 2601 New Market Drive, Wednesday April 20 to Friday April 22 from 3-6 p.m. The tour will include a 30-minute facility walkthrough, information on the programs and services, Q&A with City, and Council District One staff, and more.
